DYWIDAG Canopy Tubes for pipe umbrella systems are used as an inclined drilled roof pre-support measure for mechanical tunneling excavations. These systems ensure the stability of soil or rock formations, thus increasing workspace safety and ensuring the continuity of works.
The methodology uses arched and overlapping ground improvements provided by the specific characteristics of the canopy tubes. This modular system ensures that the desired length can be achieved quickly and easily. The color coding applied to each tube makes the sequential installation efficient and mistake-proof.
Standard lengths up to 18m are available, with additional lengths by request
Wide array of diameters of up to 168.3mm available, including the 114.3mm market standard
Particularly suited to poor ground conditions to ensure excavation continuity
